When you wake up in the morning what’s the first thing you drink? Having a really long day working and need a pick me up or staying up all night and need something to get you through it? 

Coffee is the first thing that pops into anyone’s mind.

For non-coffee drinkers, what exactly is coffee? Well, it comes from seeds that you can find inside the fruit of coffee plants that are dried, processed and brewed into the delicious black liquid that we drink. 

If you are like me and start every day with a cup of coffee, whether it’s plain or with milk, do you ever wonder what the real benefits of drinking it? 

  • There are nutrients in coffee like Vitamin B-3 and Vitamin B-2, Potassium, Magnesium and it is pack with antioxidants that benefit the human body in different ways.
  • Coffee helps with your metabolism and also helps you lose weight because it contains caffeine which a known to be a natural supplement for fat burning, although for long-term coffee drinkers this effect is much lower.
  • Drinking coffee can help prevent diseases like:
  1. heart disease or even strokes
  2. Parkinson’s disease 
  3. Cancer

if you drink at a moderate level, like 1 to 3 cups of coffee a day then it can reduce the risk of these diseases.
